Well, I needed a small tv stand (around 48 inches in length) and wanted one that was modern and low, and this fit the bill. They do provide a hex wrench (I used my own) but you will need two sizes of phillips screwdriver bits to install other parts. The holes for the legs to be screwed in are not drilled; they're just marked. So you will need to drill them yourself. The legs themselves are hollow plastic. So, after I put it together I put my old Toshiba 47 inch flat screen on it and it bowed. Badly. Apparently it cannot hold much weight. The Toshiba is 49 pounds and has a center turnstile-type support. If you have a newer, lighter flat screen with legs at either end I suppose this will work just fine. The other issue is the back piece that comes with this has only one opening for wires to go through. If you put it where the two shelves are the hole is bisected by the shelves, so you will not be able to get a fat plug through. For now, I'm leaving the back off until I can punch additional openings and am putting a newer, lighter tv on it. Was it worth what I paid for it? Probably not.
