The build quality, design, and engineering of these die-cast aluminium wall mounts are second to none.The hex-key adjustments guarantee no movement whatsoever, and the 4 rotation points allow for a great deal of freedom. There are about 3 clicks for each tick marked on each rotation point, which is a great balance.The speaker mounting plate is quite large - 90m x 50mm (6mm thick), which is too long for eg, a Yamaha MusicCast 20, but it can be side-mounted or even reverse-mounted - you will probably want a thin gasket (bit of rubber) between the mount plate and the speaker.There are no mounting screws - the central mount hole is 10mm across, while the four outer holes are 5mm each.You will want to remove the entire arm when fixing the mount plate to the speaker, as the clearance for the central screw is quite small.Personally, I think the safety cable is unnecessary (but then the note says that statutory regulation BGV-C1.7 must be secured against falling with a wire rope). I believe the bracket itself could support my weight (90kg) - with no difficulty and no movement, even though they only rate it to 10kg speakers, which is probably because it mounts to the wall with two holes.Just make sure your connection to the wall is thorough, and that your wall is really solid!
