Very cheap metals used in construction. Metal neck snapped off from holding its own weight. Lasted less than a year and half, and not used by children. Product support is non existent. It is an attractive lamp, and bought in spite of negative reviews. This time, the reviews were correct. First one arrived broken, and Amazon promptly replaced. The second one arrived intact and lasted a little over a year before the metal sheered..
